help on burning copyrighted DVDs

I'm having computer problems right now. It is taking so long to download some files and it seems like it's crawling. I cannot determine what could have possibly gone wrong. The last time I did was I was trying to burn a copy protected DVD. I was looking forward to see the video of a movie. I was looking for some online help and stumbled into an article. It says in how to burn copy protected DVDs that it really takes so much of your hard disk space. What can I possibly do about it? Should I buy larger hard disk space, or partioning it will do good too?

Re: help on burning copyrighted DVDs

If you plan on ripping the movie to your hard drive, then you definitely need available space for the storage. If you do not, then the files placed on your hard drive should be temporary (they should delete themselves when you are done).

Besides available space, there is also an issue of contiguous space (space that is not fragmented or broken up through normal use) and that can be improved by your computer.

Without knowing what your specs are, it's not possible to say much more about your specific situation.
