As you know, a recordable can contain 4.37 GB of user data. So, unless you reduce the file count in a premasterer or compress the contents - no go.

You can image the original to disk using Alcohol 120%, Nero etc and mount the image in a Virtual drive.

I feel as though I've missed something ...
