Have you changed any drivers lately, as you say it used to work once before something has changed to cause this.

Have you downloaded the latest VIA chipset drivers?

It might also be a sign that it might be a memory problem starting to appear or maybe the power supply is starting to fail?

What does the error say?

Regards

Can you say exactly what the error says?

If it started without you doing anything, try to remember what you may have put on the PC the day before, changes sometimes do not occur until you reboot and thus it looks like it started for no reason.

another tip
all cd freaks including myself, have a habit of adding more
hardware. however the more you pull apart power supply
plugs & sockets the more they become "looser" so pull them apart
again and sqeeze the sockets tighter or cut the plugs and
sockets off and solder the wires together.
loose connections cause intermittent computer freeze ups.

Hope info helps
