i have win xp pro, toshiba satellite with piv 2,2 ghz, 512, 40gb, dvd+cdrw.

Just send the logfile to info@engelmann.com.
There may be different reasons for this known error. But they need to check the logfile to tell you how to get rid of it...
Only the development can help you in this case!

Hi, MJ3 is a really bad one !!!! By every update the programm crashes by 81 % - I send always the logfiles to "engelmann", but no improvement. Latest update .........18 - same = Crash at 81 %.

Another reason for don't take MJ3 is, you've no chance to delete the MJ - Logo. I try a lot, change a hotkey and something else.........

I use further on DVD2SVCD - Best proramm and it is for free (only the encoder, but anyway !)

I sold my MJ3 version to a friend and he sold it along (because of same problems !)

I see you have this problem too, I am still waiting for a answer. Are we expected to buy this software and than try to fix it??? I would like to see a answer to this problem or even some suggestion as to why this happens only to a few. I know each system is differant but come on now, there can only be a few reasons why this happens and if one is expected to buy this program than we the buyer should at least know what the problems are and what to do to fix it, RIGHT? I will KEEP my money in my pocket till than and keep waiting for a answer or even a hint as to what might be wrong. Maybe the next will tell.

v 3.09.303 great - works on my win 98 machine and my win xp machine. good quality video and sound.

Use my win98 desktop to rip to hdd whilst i'm out to work. come home transfer mpeg files to laptop and burn ----

Works for me every time

hint --- don't go for 3.09.304 tho. copyright infringment error, won't copy comercial dvd's.
