Same here!!

I have been watching this thread and have noticed there where some others who also have this problem. Seems like nobody wants to answer this question or make some suggestions?? I really like to get this program working before I put out $$$$ for it. The support is very much lacking in the respect that all you get is send me some email, and maybe just maybe mind you, WE will get back to you in 2 or 3 months? I thought this was the reason for a message board like this, ( so they would not have to answer so many emails) . I think maybe I'll keep my $$$$ in my back pocket till support gets better. Don't get me wrong, its a great program and very easy to use but it needs better support all around!

So if anyone has had this problem and found out what was causing it, well why not let the rest of us in on it.

Re: Movie Jack 3

I'm using version 3.50.510 of Movie Jack, which rips 100% of the time. However, if you ask for two equally filled discs (VCD) I get three discs instead of two, the last being very tiny. I always rip to my hard drive and never use rip & burn.

If I let Movie Jack fill the discs I always get two files on the HD, one very large and the second the remainder. I don't get good burns from the Movie Jack software. . . they (the VCD image) doesn't stop at the end of the burn, but backs up some amount and repeats the playback - go figure.

I use old Nero Express Version 5.5.10.5 Mitsumi, which has worked with every CD-R and CD-RW that I have installed it on. I'm currently using an MSI CD-RW which has worked flawlessly since I bought and installed it on my home built computer system.

Anyway, using Nero, I burn xxx-1 to VCD-1 and xxx-3 and xxx-2 to VCD-2 thus getting my two disc set.

Once in a while Movie Jack won't successfully rip a movie. . . loss of sync between video and audio being the most ofter observed problem, especially on older DVDs. However, I am very satisfied with the paid version and have stopped using all the others that I have used, some bought too, in the past.
