Yea your not kidding H@rdcore!

It takes ages to do a SVCD, although the quality is much better it ties up the PC for too long and as I use it everyday making SVCD's slows the whole thing to a crawl making it almost impossible to use it.

By the way Dark have you heard anything yet?

Hi everyone , Im sorry if I sound stupid but I have just bought a optorite 8x8 dvd+rw/-rw drive, I have downloaded a movie in avi format and want to convert it so i can put it onto a dvd disk to watch, what is the best and fastest converter and what do i need to convert it to fo the best quality ? oh sorry as well what would be the best format to download as well,

The best way to do it is to get Cucusoft AVI to DVD(Freeware). Open your avi with it and encode it. It will probably give you a load of iso's and bins. Get Nero trial or buy it if you ain't got broadband. Click make DVD and then just drag all your bin and vob's and all the other stuff that encoder gave you into the box and click Burn!! By the way wat r ur PC specs?
