| You can convert files from the following sources: MPG-, MPEG- and VOB-files (MPEG-1- (VCD) and MPEG-2-stuff (SVCD und DVD). It can be converted to MPEG-formats (1 or 2) or AVI. The Idea of Mj is to convert DVDs into any other format. That's why your wanted feature isn't supported. As far as I know it isn't planned for the near future but maybe it'll be if there are enough replies... By the way, there are many freeware tools which can convert avi files to mpg.
