| ****CD-RW drive question. Please help.**** Whats a good *external* cd-rw most bang for the buck and a good usb 2.0 pci card thats not to much $? Also how stable are usb 2.0/usb 1.1 cd-rw drives? I know they have burn proof and everything but do they burn as fast as the internel ones at the same speed ratings? Last edited by imtim83; 06-12-2002 at 20:43. |

| My bro has a YAMAHA CRW-F1DX for his laptop. It does pretty much everything, fast. Not as good as the Lite-Ons in the Correct EFM-Encoding, w/ 1 sheep instead of 2, but from what I heard, it's a good deal. As for the USB 2.0 card, any will do. Don't waste your money on the over priced adaptec brand. |
