| Toshbia SD-M1802 or SD-M1712 in the uk hi guys just bought myself a lovely nec 2500 and like others, i have discovered that its a crap reader. so i have decided to get a toshiba dvd rom. i have read that the lite on 166 is a bit noisy? anyway any one know where to get the Toshbia SD-M1802 or SD-M1712 in the uk? maybe i am a bit dunce but i can see it anywhere. thanks |

| Hmm I don't find the 166 that noisy, but I never compared it to the 1712... I wouldn't advice the 1812 from Toshiba, as it's not that compatible with all the different DVD formats...
