Slow DVD-ROM what happened? - Club CDFreaks

My laptop has this Toshiba SD-R2102 dvdrom/cdrw combo. Just today I noticed it's running really slow when playing a DVD. DVD movie it's very slow and also DVD-R I played. What happened? It played normally just yesterday. Does windows effect it to act in this way? I tried dvdinfopro speed test. Reading DVD its less then 1x speed. Only 0.7x...... CD speed has 6X.... Please advice. Thanks!

If every CD/DVD you try is running slow, check DMA is enabled in System Properties.

Where can I check that? Can you be more specific where I should go? I went in System in Control Panel. I can't find what DMA....Please help. Thanks
