| Should I buy a DVD burner now?Hi.I'm not sure if DVD burner is going to be outmode Should I buy a DVD burner now? Hi. I'm not sure if DVD burner is going to be outmoded soon. Actually apart from DVD burner, is there any other kind of burners that I can consider? The one I realise is Blu-ray burner which should be available soon. Any others? Is it still okay to buy a DVD burner at this moment? Or should I consider other burners? Or else? Thanks for your reply.  |

| Re: Should I buy a DVD burner now?Hi.I'm not sure if DVD burner is going to be outmode DVD burners are not going to be obsolete anytime soon. even if blue ray makes it out this year the initial costs for both the burners and the disks are going to be high just like DVD burners were when they first came out.

DVD burners are $50 now. Just get one, you'll be glad you did! |

Do you mean CDs are very cheap, or else? By the way, it seems DVD is relatively cheaper than CD if you consider their storage. | |
