| printing notification At work we used an old school impact printer. This printer received messages that we have to respond to as soon as possible. We knew a message came in, because we could hear the printer print the message, the printer is very loud.
Now
The impact printer was replaced with an HP lazer printer. The printer is so quiet that we don't hear it printing. The printer has high tech features, like it will email you when the paper is low and when the ink is low or jamed, but it will not email when it prints.
Does anyone know of a way to have a bell go off when this printer prints.
The printer serves no other purpose then to print the messages we respond quickly too. |
