well i was installing a tv tuner cad to my pc, the driver installation went ok, then the tv software it came with installs ok as well, however the above error in the picture pop up just as the tv software finish its installation, now i was thinking if that piece of software is a critial component or an essential part for the tv card, since i have no clue what that intervideo filter thing is, however the tv card does work fine without needing to install that intervideo thing, so i was wondering, can any of you tell me what that intervideo filter thing is and what it's for?



i do have dvd codec and MAYBE a couple of other codecs installed on my system, however my pc is pretty mess up so i really don't know when i install them or what kind of junk codec i installed on my system, but could this be causing the intervideo thing to failed to install?

The InterVideo is a type of codec ands it's not really recomended, u can use other codecs, and sincce you have enough codecs, then I guess everything should work fine as u said so
