General Hardware Forum Discuss, help Toshiba SD-M1612 at International Chat: Hardware related forum; hi.. like i said in the subject,i have a sd-m162 dvd rom drive.. and now that I bought a dvd-rw,i would like to know who to remove the riping speed limit,and also make it all region.. can u help me? thanks a lot _zZz_

you need to update the firmware with a cracked/hacked one.
I have to look for the link..because i lost it

NeroCD/DVD speed seems ok as well to check the speeds.

SmartRipper is also a fair choiche to test it.
