Hi, what is the difference between pc2700ddr dimm and pc2700 ddr desk top memory. i want to upgrade and i dont know if its the same thing thanks. my computer takes pc2700 ddr 333 sdram.

Yup, should be the same thing. Generally speaking DIMM modules reference desktop machines. Laptop's generally use SO-DIMM modules.
