HDTV as monitor

I am using are HDTV as monitor.. But I am running it in the PC (RGB) input TV slot..
But the screen is all funny{edge is cut off by top or bottom }.. Or if I restart the PC i got to go and plug the old monitor back in to tell the card { Or something esle not pointing just using as point tool } to send it to the TV which doesn't show up as HDTV but as are unpluged monitor or analog.

What do I do there so it will always send it to HDTV using the PC (RGB) input???

Or I am doomed to be plugging and unplugging everytime I restart???

Re: HDTV as monitor

this hook up is not recommended but you have to set the color to 16bit, adjust the output to 1280X720, lower the monitor frequency to 60hz or lower for the refresh rate.
and your TV does not send any signal to the video card. go download the NVIDIA driver on NVIDIA.COM and install it. Once you done installing, there should be the NVIDIA control Panel. Play with it. Adjust output to TV output that way it turns off the sensor so it doesn't have to detect the digital signal.

Re: HDTV as monitor

I got the most up to date ones they have..
The thing is that is running find right now and seems to be ok once I restart.
But when I go in to the control panel it says that I got analog not HDTV.

If I set up dual view then it says that I have HDTV and analog but once I restart I got to play with the plugs again to get it working.
I don't know if it is drivers or just something I have set up with the PC to pick up the TV.

Thank you for help.
