Is there any EDIDE/ATAPI CD-ROM drive which

1. RAW-DAO 96 reading mode for both data/audio
2. Subchannel data for both data/audio
3. Beating Copy protections like SD2.51.xxx & so on.

Do they beat the latest Safe Disc protection which are being talked about on the forum.

Are they available in UK or India?

Are they good quality?

1) yes
2) yes (www.pricewatch.com)
3) ??? Unknown... LiteOn is pretty new to the market... It is definitely not the quality from Plextor...

I understand that lite-on is a new brand but, have you heard anybodies experiences?

It must atleast work for about 3 years.

I hope the Lite-on CD-ROM drive will?

What do you think?

As I live in India, warranty is of no use to me. I will have to take it back to London personally.

So, I will have to take risk but, still any bad experiences about the drive heard/read?

Praise the Lord

About time I found an Answer to my Question, That being what CDRom burns Subchannel Data Etc....! The question is how well does this drive read this kinda data, Anyone on here used this drive for Subchannel data reading, Id be interested to know how well it performed.
