| DVD-burner cannot recognize normal cd's Hello, In my HP-computer I have 2 drives : - HP Combo DVD-player/CD-RW drive - Lite-On SOHW-1633S DVD writer Both drives are on the same IDE-cable using Cable Select Reading and writing DVD's is no problem BUT reading and writing normal CD's (audio, CD-rom and empty cd's) doesn't work. The DVD-writer doesn't recognize the media. Does anyone know what the problem could be? My boss has the same problem with a Plextor 716A, also on a HP-computer. The latest firmware-updates are installed. Driver-update isn't possible because the Microsoft-driver is used. I hope someone can help... |
