| D1/D2/D3 not detected Hi y'all! A few months ago I added a lot of hardware and software to my computer and a couple of weeks later it started acting all weird... I'm running on XP Home and in the startup, where it formerly detected my devices: D1 ATAPI DVD DUAL 4XMax D2: LITEON DVD-ROM LTD163 D3: HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8481B  Now I only get: D1: not detected D2: not detected D3: not detected  The install files for D1+D2 are on an setup disk for the whole computer, so if I use that to install the drives I'll lose all C: drive and I don't want to do that. I don't recall getting an install CD with D3, which was installed in the shop for me. Most Windows programs recognise the drives correctly but a few don't... and I need one of those programs to do so. Any suggestions? Icelane |
