Anyone know which motherboard would be best for athlon xp 3200..

2.) Abit "NF7-S" going for $95
3.) Gigabyte "GA - 7NNXP" going for $149

I already asked something like this before but I read some pc magazine and they said the gigabyte was great, but don't trust everything I read so I would like other's opinions on the issue.

Re: Best Motherboard???

I've used Gigabyte boards for a long time and I'm very pleased. I do have a NF7-S too and its also good but it's build quality doesnt feel as high as the Gigas. The fan for instance crapped out after two months. Remember that the chip used is what matters most.

Re: Best Motherboard???

I got good and bad experiences with all three brands, but with this models I've had nothing but good experiences.

I'd rest my descision upon features and price!

Re: Best Motherboard???

If you're going to overclock go for Abit NF7-S v2.0 otherwise I'd take a look at AN7 which is an updated version of NF7-S.
