Logitech X-530 problem

Was wondering if anyones had this problem and knows how to fix it (if possible at all). Ok so i have a Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker system. Had them for a couple years now, but recently if i move the volume knob on the back of the woofer, the woofer dies out and only the satellites produce any noise, if i press down on the knob, it works fine till i let go. if i turn it down a ways it works fine without having to press in on it, messing with the overall volume knob on the FR speaker doesn't kill off the woofer, nor does turning the bass up or down in my software. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Logitech X-530 problem

I know it isn't the fix you are looking for, but I suggest that you just turn the bass up all the way on the woofer, and use the volume control on the pc to raise and lower it. Otherwise you will need to take it in and have it repaired...
