| Laptop Compaq n160 - can't connect CD-ROM Hello, I have an old laptop Compaq n160 but I would like to connect CD-ROM (that helps to install Windows, etc.). Well, laptop: http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/7523/p1120225uj0.jpg http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/3946/p1120226jy7.jpg And there are 2 Teac CD-224E CD-ROMs with 2 different connectors: http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/7379/41399009eg3.jpg http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/8986/39023776is4.jpg http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/9561/39131605py6.jpg Is there any possibility to connect it? P.S. I'm not sure, if this thread is in the right forum place  |

| Re: Laptop Compaq n160 - can't connect CD-ROM I think, they are adapters because these CD-ROMs are kept from 2 old laptops. CD-ROMs are slim and have ide(?) connectors, but laptop has strange one. I have counted pins and they don't match. |
