I have frustratingly begun to make more than my share of coasters and mirrors with my DVD's and I do not know why. Up until now, things were going along smooth as silk. I recently started getting the error message - Write error at 195136 (16) - Code 05 21 02 [Illegal request, Invalid address with every session. Help!!!!!!!

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

You are using a real old version.

Upgrade to the latest CopyToDVD v3.1.3b

http://download.vso-software.fr/copytodvd3_setup.exe

If you are still having issues, slow down your burn speed to 4x.

It's not your media, you are using Taiyo Yuden which are TOP Quality !

You seem to have the latest firmware also, so that's good !

Is your pc from Dell, are you running WinXP and do you have your settings to get automatic updates?

Yeah, I had a similar problem where I had write error...turns out my other drive (huh?) was in PIO mode instead of DMA. Worse yet, it was greyed out so I couldn't just change it back.

In my case the issue was resolved by re-installing the Dell service thingie download.
