i deselect some audio tracks but it wont fill a 4.4 DVD-5 size but only got 4Gb

why?

Hi,

ConvertXtoDVD can only provide the bitrate it can from the source file.

If you output is 4.0gb it gave you the MAX bitrate it could.

If your output filled 100% a DVD5 it probably reduced the bitrate to fit a DVD5.

Provide us a full conversion log, we will see the bitrate used !

well it didnt even save the conversion log, since i stopped the conversion initially and restarted.

but it seems like it calculated the bitrate when you dragged and dropped but when you deselect audio tracks it didnt recalculate to fit dvd !!

If you stopped conversion then how do you know what size conversion result was?
And logs are saved even when conversion is stopped.

it displayed the result but didnt save it..all i got was the log of when i cancelled the intial run in order to remove the extra audio tracks

How about now? It saves after the application has been closed (there is a refreshment problem).

You can find the log here: C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\Application Data\Vso
