Hi,

So i downloaded the trial version of ConvertXtoDVD after getting serveral movies in the mkv format. I converted the file and then put it on DVD (Sony DVD+RW if that helps) and then i played it and got 2 very distinct problems :

1. There was no audio.
2. The DVD stopped after a bit and to get round the problem i needed to fast forward it a little.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Bad original.

Try other formats, avi or mpg are quite sure to work just fine.

Try other formats?
Do you mean convert the file into a different format? or try and download the video in a different format?

If that original is bad in one format, converting it to other will not fix it.
So try other files first (other movies in other format).
