Most likely a media/burner prob...
Not sure about VSO divx to dvd ,but try FAVC , see if it helps...or ConvertxtoDVD, or Super, or DVDFlick.....

Sorry I was typing as you Dl'd your complete post....will check it out...
Slow down burn speed to 8x-12x..

I used Convertx before and had the same prob ?Any other ideas ie what does the write error number mean?

Try a x4.0 burn !

Those are new 16x media, maybe a firmware upgrade is needed to fully support them ?
