Well, I never heard VSO confirm anything about Starforce, but IMHO the only burner that might be able to write Starforce is the Plextor Premium, so you best guess would be emulation. And even with emulation, Starforce uses its own driver to access the drive so that in order for someone to emulate it, they would have to reverse engineer the Starforce driver, which is illegal.

We are talking about Starforce 3 here, right?

It will be hard to emulate starforce but hey, nothing is impossible ! If they want to make 1:1 copies using the premium, they will first have to solve the issue that occur when you burn a CD with gigarec ON all the way, and not in short bursts like it does for securom 4.8x.
If you have the premium, burn a CD with gigarec turned on at, for example, 0.8x, then make a BWA of it...
