A question about ConvertXtoDVD

When i try to use a 2 part AVI file i load part 1 and then load part 2 and convert to DVD. When i have the finished disc and put it in my set top players, let it load, hit play, part 2 always starts first which is NOT what i want it to do. So my work around is to load part 2 then part one then convert but the menu looks stupid

This makes sense to anyone? Maybe i don't have a setting right?

Re: A question about ConvertXtoDVD

The conversion log that cougar ii speaks of can answer about 20 questions just by looking at it.

Re: A question about ConvertXtoDVD

Okie dokie i will convert it again and post log later but i doubt it will help for my problem.

My problem is not with converting. It's the order that the app puts my files in the menu. I have to load the 2 files backwards (2 then 1) to get it to play the way i want.

Re: A question about ConvertXtoDVD

When this 2 part is converted part 2 converts first then part 1 in the preview window even though i load part 1 first. Not sure what the log says though. Doesn't make sense to me why that is.

I put the disc in my stand alone and part 2 starts first

Am i the only one to notice this?

Re: A question about ConvertXtoDVD

Hi,

Based on your log file, File1 is converted then File2
Everthing looks normal (After a 1st look)

Quote:
9/8/2007 10:41:59 AM info [ ] Sequential playback
9/8/2007 10:41:59 AM info [ ] Loop playback
9/8/2007 10:41:59 AM info [ ] Auto start playback
9/8/2007 10:41:59 AM info [X] Menu
Based on your menu selection, here's what should happen.

- You put the DVD in the player
- The menu should appear since you asked for a menu, and did not ask for Auto Start
- Once file1 is done playing, it should return to the menu, since you didn't ask for Sequential Playback.

This is not happening ?

If you open File1.avi on your computer, is that Part 1 of the movie ?
Maybe someone named them upside down ?

File1 = Part 2 ???

Re: A question about ConvertXtoDVD

Some files give the message "can't convert one or more files view log" then I can't start the conversion. Any Ideas?
