Problems imaging my disks! HELP!

First offm do I want to ectract Physical media layout to a bwa file? What the heck? Can anyone explain?

Also, I am having trouble with my first backup. I am trying to make a backup of my retail verison of Age of Empires: Conquerors Expansion, but I keep getting an error after blind read it tells me it extracted a good copy. Any help? Or tips? Could it be my media? I bought some disks online for cheap and they have no labels, lol. They work great with anything else though, claimed to be 40x or something.....

Thanks, I am going by the manual and the on-line help......no luck so far.

Thanks,

You don't need a bwa file for Age of Empires-Conquerors expansion. It's plain old safedisc 1 protected and you shouldn't have any problem copying it so long as you have a writer that can write in a raw mode.

However, you haven't told us what writer you have nor have you told us what reading and burning modes you used.

I am using a Plextor 24/10/40A.....

I just bought some taiyo yuden CD-R's, I was told those are the best for my type of burner.

I dont really undersand the writing modes. I just see DOA RAW and some other things of that nature.

Help?

Thanks,

After you open blindwrite you will need to go into the advanced tab and check what applies to your writer, this should open more writing options for you.

How do I know what type options my burner can handle? I see some things checked, like Soa Cooked, Doa PQ, and Doa PW. Should I check the remaining boxes?

Thanks,
