| Problems with .avs files Hi. I'm having trouble converting .avs files in convertxtodvd. I get Discontinuity errors in the log when I'm converting. So I went to options and audio. Unchecked "Don't check/fix audio discontinuities" and it converts fine. But the only thing is, is that when I'm converting, the bar at the bottom does not move at all during the whole convert. And the percentage completion stays at 0.0% the whole time too. I'm also having no voices problems when I play the dvd in my dvd player. I tried it on my computer and it works fine. Here's a screenshot of the log: ![]() |

| Re: Problems with .avs files hello Which ConvertXToDVD version do you use ? Could you provide the complete log of this conversion ? Did you change some default options in ConvertxToDVD ? Best regards,

I did join them into one big file. But the log I posted was just the first cd so it wouldn't take a long time to encode. | ||

| Re: Problems with .avs files The log you post seems to be the encoding of the whole movie : 6/8/2007 4:07:04 PM info ----------------Title #1---------------- 6/8/2007 4:07:04 PM info Project size 4.3 Gb. I would like to get the same files as yours, in order to make some testings. I've tried to convert the first part of the movie, without any problems.. I did not have any error.

| Re: Problems with .avs files cougar - thanks for letting me know at least I know it's not just me now. I guess I'll just have to live with overscan for now if I can't get this to work. Do you know if the option to use overscan or not will ever be added in later on? fonzzie - You're right it was the full movie from the log I posted. I'm just messing around with programs now using only the first cd to speed up encoding a bit. I'm using fitcd. Clicking on source and finding the right avi file. Unchecking the PAL boxes. And setting the destination to DVD 720. Then adding 2 blocks for overscan. Then save script at bottom right. And I load that .avs script into convertxtodvd. |
