Any toshiba reader will do a perfect .bwa file. I have a plextor 24x and a toshiba dvd and the toshiba leaves the plextor far away when trying to make a .bwa. Not only in accuracy but speed too. It extracts a complete .bwa file information reading at max speed when my plex needs to read at 8x and does not extract it very accurate.

Good luck!

Morglum007, I can verify this. My Plextor 24 and my 48 both can make a good BWA but my Toshiba m1401 SCSI leaves it in the dust. I have also found that some CD roms (Plextor 40x SCSI) are better for reading BWA than the plextor cdrws. But my Liteons 48125W and 542452 can beat almost anything. Plextor cdrws are great drives. But not always best at reading.
