I discovered that I am not able to create a plex premium copy of a game protected with securom 7. The game runs fine from the original and from an alcohol image, provided Daemons blacklisting is circumvented. This is the first time, a plex premium securom backup doesn't work for me. Anyone else?

More info: The bwa is good enough, cause I can launch the game from the blindwrite image (using a tool to prevent blacklisting).

When I try to use the Premium 1:1 copy, it seems as if the protection discovers the CD-R in the drive (so it says anyway). Since naturally, every 1:1 copy is a CD-R, this must be something new, cause it didn't happen with my other games. I also tried hiding the CD-R with plextools to no avail.

It should be noted that the original fires up the game with no problems.

Yes,indeed.It is well known for at least three months from now with the latest versions of Securom 7,the early ones are copiable with Plextor Premium and Blindwrite 4 or 5

So what has changed? How do they detect the copy? Using a very old CD drive didn't help.

Anyone know if BW6 *silently* fixes the SR7 problems with the Plextor Premium? I'm searching the forums and on Google...with not too much luck. Guess I'll have to TwinPeak it for now...
