NOLF2 & BlindWrite 4.2.8

I have a problem...
I cant attach an image right away,, i dont know where to upload to illustrate,, but here goes:

I'm using BlindWrite 4.2.8 to try and backup my NOLF 2

CD Image Verification shows:
  • Image consistency: HD Image OK
  • Sector headers: Sectors headers are correct
  • Read Errors: No detected error in sectors
  • Weak sectors: No detected weak sectors
  • File systems: File system not found
  • Physical media: Physical data found. Use DAO PW or PQ writing mode !
  • Synthesis: This image requires some special attention
  • Recommandations: Use "DAO PW" or "DAO PQ" writing mode

I have burned this image in BW (according to the "how-to" instructions given from the site) and tested on another puter and used cd-rw and cd-rom, i can install the game but cannot run it. i am thinking that the image or .bwa file is not being read correctly, is this possible? i tried various other settings for creating the image file and .bwa file, but still no luck, not working! what am i doing wrong?

btw - the curve in the .bwa file is better than my previous attempts.

my specs are as follows:
Intel P4 2.0GHz
512MB DDR
40GB Western Digital HDD
Lite-On 32123S
GeForce 4 64MB DDR
XP Pro (Build 2600)

Mate your problem at the moment is useing bw 4.2.8 its very buggy at the moment here are some of the buggy problems people get useing it...

BWA information not writen correctly.
Burning speed detection needs Correcting [Sometimes when you burn at 24x you end up burning at 52x this is random.]
File system incompatible with burning software when creating image.. dueing image verification....

=================================

i suggest you install 4.2.8 then copy the bwabuilder.exe somewhere safe then delete blindwrite and reinstall blindwrite v4.2.5 then copy back the bwabuilder.exe

and use that......

hope this helps but for now 4.2.5 is the best imho..
