For some reason the video preview is blank. I was able to make a DVD Sunday but I tried again and the preview was blank

Install DirectX, free from microsoft (google it)

If you have Nero you may find that it conflicts with convertx.Answer is to uninstall nero and reinstall convertx and install directx 10 free from microsoft.

What versions of each ? Is it a problem VSO Software should address?

Maybe version 3 of ConvertXtoDVD will not have this problem.

I burned four episodes of smallville season 1 on to disc using convert x to dvd which normally turns out good but this time it didnt the quality was not good whatsoever and the menu was a little jumpy
