Multitasked Burn

I have 3 DVD drives and was wondering if CopytoDVD can burn 3 seperate disks at the same time? I know you can open multiple instances of it so I would assume it can?

I have 2 SATA Liteon DVD burners plus one IDE Pioneer. My CopytoDVD is version 3 if you havent read my previous posts.

Re: Multitasked Burn

yes you can open multiple instance but the program is not designed to burn same project on 3 differents drive in the same time.
This feature hasn't been requested a lot compared to some others, even if I agree it could be nice, we have to satisfy the most popular requests first.

Re: Multitasked Burn

do you have any need to do multiple conversion and burn into different burners in the same time, because we are thinking about some tips to do that if required

Yes, I do. I had several gigabytes of data that needed to be backed up, over 100GB. With 1 burner at a time going and burning 4.3GB DATA, it would require over 10 DVD+R single layer discs and 8-10 minutes a burn. I was able to use IMGburn to burn 2 discs at once which saved me half the time. However, I have 3 DVD burners and it would of been nice to use all 3 at once since my HDD and bandwidth can support 3 drives burning at once.

2x Liteon 20A1S SATA

1x Pioneer 112D IDE

Every burner is on their own channel.

HDD Maxtor 6H500F0
3.0Gb/sec SATA II 8.5ms seek time 16MB buffer 300MB/sec transfer.
