How to remove autoplay complitely..?

Hi.

I have a following question:

How can I remove the autoplay feature complitely from my computer?

Here's what I have already done:

I uninstalled Blindwrite suite and deleted the remaining folder and it's contents (c:\...\vso\Blindwrite). After that I modified the registery by using regedit.. I deleted all the vso folders and all the staff referring to vso, blindwrite, blindread or autoplay.. heck I even deleted everything that had letters BW in it, if I was sure it referred to blindwrite. Vso_loc was also removed from my windows directory. And what do you know.. that frigging autoplay thing still worked!! I tested this by running my back up copy of Newerwinter nights, which I created earlier using blindwrite + bwa builder (and autoplay enabled). The game started with no problems at all. If I try to start NWN on my second comp (which has never had BW installed) by using this back up copy, it won't start. So obviously, the autoplay feature is still active despite all the uninstalling and deleting. Now could somebody please tell me how in earth can I remove this feature for good?

Thank you for all the answer(s) in advance!

Burner: Lite-on LTR-16102B, System: Windows 98 SE, Blindwrite suite version 4.2.7

have you checked that the Pattin Couffin device drive is no longer installed or at least disabled (Pcouffin.sys)?
