So far as I recall, this game uses safedisc not securom as its copy protection method. A bwa file for it would be useless.

Does anyone have a BWA file for the Securom *new* 4.84.84.0009 Vivendi Universal Games Mattel "Barbie Horse Adventures Horse Adventures Mystery Ride" PC game?

I would try to build my own but I can not find any version 4 BWA Builder software downloads on the net (and the version 5 trial download doesn't come with a working BWA Builder).

I don't begrudge VSO their money (they deserve it!) but to buy sixty dollar software to back up a single twenty dollar game obviously would not be a smart decision on my part.

It seems nobody on the planet has ever backed up this game based on my googling.

That's why I'm asking if anyone has the BWA file for Barbie Horse Adventures.

- Have a look at this, PatinCouffin engine (included in BW5) has to be installed
- There is also a standalone BWA Builder 5 for customers, but BW5 has a 'built-in' topology extractor, use the Automatic profile, watch your log for the quality of extracted topology (before burning you can test your image mounted in Daemon Tools' virtual drive)
- if you want to burn with BW5 using a BWA (because your b5t topologies are bad) you need the tool BW5Tweaker to avoid topology extraction and to choose the BWA before writing

I am trying to make my own bwa file with my NEC ND-3550A, but it either gives me a message:"This device has an unstable reading speed. It can't be used for accurate topology extraction", or it gives a very poor curve.

The BWA file contains errors around the last portion. This becomes a problem when wanting to mount the image with DAEMON Tools as DT expects the total RMPS data to tally with the number of sectors. I deleted off that portion and this one should work now (at least it worked for me...with Securom and RMPS option turned on in DT). It's in MDS but you can change it to BWA using BWA builder.
