Now I get it,
World War II: Panzer Claws (or Frontline Attack: War Over Europe - as it's called in Europe)
Any chance you can scan the .EXE on the HDD with This and post the exact version of SecuRom it has

In Australia this title is called WW2 Panzer Claws and it is protedted by Securom v4.83.55.0001. Detected by Clony v2.0.10. So far I've tried Blindwrite v4.2.7.0 with BWA but the game just wouldn't load. Does anyone got a working BWA file as I'm getting nowhere of success.

Doubt if anyone would bother as securom protection was removed in version 1.23. Just update to that version or later and any old copy will do.

For Real? I hadn't heard that.

Most interesting that a company would delete the copy protection with a patch. Normally they would upgrade it.

Thanks heaps

@ViRuS2k

does this mean that older/slower lite-on burners cannot deliver a perfect curve like that one??

my 48125w doesn't give a perfect curve - a few spikes, but hey - just download perfect bwa s

the 52246S is probably a slightly better reader than all older lteon CDRWS

Perfect bwa file for UT2K3 Taiwan version

In my case, what burning software you use to create the bwa file
also matters.

For the UT2K3 Infogrames branch released here, I used and tried BlindWrite 421, 424, 425, 428, 428b, and 429 on my Lite-On 163, 163D, 166s, and 40125W as reader, all failed to create a perfect bwa without up and down spikes. Then I tried the latest Alcohol 140-114, SecuROM *NEW (V4.X) profile at 4X, and use BWA Builder to transform it into bwa and finally got the perfect bwa, slight peak shift as compared to the ViRuS2K one, but I still use BlindWrite 429 to burn the CD image and it works on all client PCs, my two sons and friends', without any burning software installed.

The CD created by BlindWrite 425 writer + 428b bwa builder combination DOES work on Lite-On drives, both CD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD, but fails on Pioneer DVD of client PC. This is what happens in my case.

The UT2003 released by INFOGRAMES Taiwan branch here is the combination of English and Traditional Chinese version.
Since it's released later than the US one, a more update SecuROM is implemented into the CD1. After applying the game patch V2166, the protection got further updated.

Dr Evil, your ftp acct for bwa (the password) doesn't appear to work and I'm pretty sure my firewall has ports 20 and 21 open for this. I have a far better bwa file for nolf2 I wanted to ul but I cannot.

Not to say yours doesn't work, but my file will work a lot better with an image and it has no spikes

I would submit a Ring 2 bwa...but the game is so crap I don't I should on principle

...by the way, I don't know how but I found that the uk release of Soldiers Of Anarchy was only backed up by CloneCD (v4.2.0.1) and that Blindwrite and Alcohol failed! ClonyXXL could identify the supposed Securom protection and that the read process was very similar to SD 2 i.e. loads of bad sectors up to around 10000.

Any else seen this???

Heres a BWA for Unreal II

Time Taken: 15min 42sec @ 1X, and just as an experiment, tried Max, and bingo. Exactly the same, only took less time.

PS - Post no. 99
