Hello.

The problem: I have been trying to burn many different Divx movies now.
And when i play the DVD on my DVD player every movie has been freezing for 1-2 seconds
then and then. It is very annoying.

I burn with Verbatim DVD+R discs at 4x speed. BUT the thing is that when i do it with
the same movie, and same Verbatim discs with Avi2DVD it works great every time.
So what can it be? It MUST be ConvertXtoDVD because it works great with other programs.

But i like ConvertXtoDVD so i want to burn and convert with it. It is so easy everything,
and fast, and easy to do the menus.

But as i said: i cant understand it when i do exactly the same thing with 2 different
programs, and every time the movie has alots of glitches (freezing) when i convert and
burn with ConvertXtoDVD.

I really hope that someone can help me.

Hummm, you are doing everything right

The only thing I have read in a few posts are the Verbatim 16x DVD+R are not as good as the DVD+R 8x

A few people said that.

I also use Taiyo Yuden DVD-R and Verbatim DVD+R and DVD-R, and never burn aove 4x.

1 time, I had a movie freeze a few times, and it was on a Verbatim 16x DVD+R.

It's the only time I had an issue, the rest is 100%

But still: It works with Avi2DVD for example. But NOT with ConvertXtoDVD.
I like ConvertXtoDVD more, it is faster and easier.

But now i´m starting to hate ConvertXtoDVD becasue it makes glitches in every movie. gahhh =)

Same question as in the thread of yours that was closed because of an illegal download.

Anyways you're using top quality 16x media and a decent 16x burner so you'll probably get far better results burning at 12x. These discs burn very well at 12x & 16x but I'd never try them at 4x as this burn slow for better quality is a myth.
