Getting Better quality with Copyxtodvd

hi

please could someone tell me the best way to get the best quality when converting movie downloads from avi to dvd with copyxtodvd, its just that i have downloaded some movies of late and have used copyxtodvd to convert but im finding that the film quality when its burnt is ok but not excellent,

for example on a few films etc the film looks sort of digital and grainy and im certain that i have been feeling a little sick when watching them as the focus of the films are not great(wondered if this was common)

most of the films are v good quality when played directly on my PC its just when the converted to dvd

it may be the downloads thenselves that are not great quality but i just wanted to make sure that im using all the available software to get the best picture, so if any body has any recomendatiions about getting the best from the avi files that i download it would be much apprciated

thanks
haz

Re: Getting Better quality with Copyxtodvd

Hi,

#1, you always use some quality when you convert.

ConvertXtoDVD provides the best quality it can based on your input file.

#2, Playing a file and converting are 100% 2 different things (So I was told).

If you check in the logs, you will see what bitrate was applied to your file.

Max bitrate on a DVD is around 9000 kb/s.
