EZ-Play I just got the latest beta of BW6 (6.0.0.11) and it now seems to include something called "EZ-Play". Does anyone know what this is? It appears to be a driver of some kind or another (but not a replacement for VSO's Patin-Couffin driver...) but I haven't determined what it's used for.

Re: EZ-Play It seems to be a replacement for the old Autoplay driver, something like an RMPS emulator ?!? In their email VSO wrote "Blindwrite 6 offers now the EZ-Play-technology, in order to simplify the use of backup copies." But it doesn´t install under my 64Bit XP, so I can´t try it out... ![]()

| Re: EZ-Play support for 64bits needs the driver to be signed. We are working on it , it will be available in a future version. About EZ-Play, yes it replaces the Autoplay RPMS emulation

Re: EZ-Play I tried again to install the driver with version 6.0.0.11 and this time it seems to work on XP64, I told windows to ignore that the driver is not signed. So I wanted to see how it works and I made a backup copy of my Dreamfall DVD with Starforce Protection. But as I wrote in another thread, BW6 said on the one hand "Backup tagged for EZ-Play" and on the other hand "warning: Media topology ignored", so it seems to me, the topology isn´t written to the EZ-Play information on the disc. And so the copy didn´t start the game, as expected. I tried to modify an unofficial profile to "Write topology = 1" but BW doesn´t care, the topology is ignored nevertheless. Am I really too stupid? ![]()

Re: EZ-Play Hi there, I am not a game person, so bare with me ! One thing I know for sure, Blindwrite 6 did not update the StarForce support. All the other ones were updated to support the latest SecureRom, SafeDisk and all the other ones I'm not aware of ![]()
