| DTM Race Driver: Protection incl. Solution :) DTM Race Driver: Protection incl. Solution ![]() to make it short ... 2 Discs: - first one is the game disc, protected with securom "extra-new" [name doesn`t matter] use BWS to read out the image and use this *.BWA-file: >>click here<< - second one is not protected ... so there is no problem so far... theoretic ... the game includes the copy-protection FADE too ... but with the right *.BWA-file this doesn`t matter ... HAVE FUN ... c ya

| these two files ... are in a way identic ... the *.mds is the original produced with Alcohol120% and *.BWA is the converted file ... which is needed to produce a working backup with BWS ... did you play from an emulated image or an physikal backup ...a

| I made a *.bwa for my own with BWS. THIS file is different to your *.bwa ( I compared it in BWABuilder) and I do not understand why. Playing from an emulated image was no problem, but the copy on cdr was not accepted by my PC until I made it with the downloaded *.bwa from your post. (file date: end 2001??). Most important for me: How to make a a correct *.BWA?? Maybe I used a DVD-ROM-Drive instead a CD-Writer for reading or should I convert *.mds to *.bwa? BWABuilder did not accept my *.mds. | for sure there are different ways (hardware-based) howto get the "perfect" *BWA-file ... in my case ... it seems to be the best way , to use Alcohol120% for the best result. i used the securom 4.XX profile and let it read ... DPM-analysis with 1x ... for the real image it`s unimportant which options u use ,,, after process ... convert the made *.mds file with BWAbuilder to a real *.BWA-file ... that u are able to use it with BWS ... and then burn it ... it`s necessary to use BWS ... 2.5 (i`m not realy sure about this version no. necessary only 2 and a 5 ![]() that u are able to select "if available:use *.BWA-file" ... that`s all u have to know so far... burn the image and have fun ...

| Word of warning . this will not work yes you may have by passed the securom guard module but you havent by passed FADE... its the hardest protection there is its up there with tages 1st day it was released i backed mine up but i didnt give out any help on methods to by pass it becuse its worthless with out killing fade. i can start the game and play it for a few races with out cracks to crack the exe` to get into the game you can call it what you like but after a few races my pc randomly reboots well i call it reboots but it actualy shuts my system down. some people have reported with the cracked exe`s that are released they have tryed them and cars flying all over the track ect. and reboots. we may have by passed the cars crashing and flying about and the startup module but in no way have we by passed the random reboots and if someone has figured out how dont you think it would have been posted by now by me or any other pc geek lolits a matter of fact that FADE protection is Unstopable at the moment........ i have further tests to run on the game but my hopes are low.

go into your bios and find the option : CPU shutdown Burnout Temp :Auto / Manual if you have it set to manual set it to auto ok or if its auto set a manual temp ok . sometimes your temps get screwy and your pc shuts your computer down to prevent cpu burnout ![]() it may be under a diffrent name so check that. if not then i havent a clue LOL

| like i said .... to use the *.BWA correctly it`s necessary to use BWS 4.2.5 ... because in your mentioned version you are not able to select "use BWA file if available" manually ... so the program seems to use it automatically but it isn`t as exac t as it should be try to find the prefered version that you are able to work correctly ![]()
