Hello all, I've got a query about the target size on DivxtoDVD. On "Encoding" options I selected DVD-5 and yet the resulting folder video_ts was 5.41 GB. Too large for a single disk! Now I do have a burner with dual write capability but I haven't got any dual layer discs because they're too expensive. Surely it is what you select in the target size file rather than what your burner is capable of that decides the file size?

It is strange because in the log it said "project size 4.2GB", yet somehow it has massively underestimated the final project size.

Can someone also reassure me that there shouldn't be an audio_ts folder in addition to video_ts. This is the first time i've tried this so I don't know what a dvd is supposed to look like.

Did you change the minimum bitrate? I changed this to 3 once and the project came out to big. Better to leave it at minimum. And no, you don't need the audio_ts folder. It for compatibility with older standalones. Some programs like nero and copytodvd make one anyway when you burn just to avoid problems. The audio_ts folder is always empty.
