DivxToDvd question - where'd my audio go?

when i used divxtodvd, it created a Video_TS folder where i had pointed it to- but there was no audio folder..is there anything that i should have done to do the audio? or does this program only do video? it kept saying in the log that it was matching the audio to video timing, so i would have assumed it was gonna fix the audio and put it in sync - but no audio folder!!!

any ideas??

i used divxtodvd to create a file to burn to dvd, and it looks like the best program that i've used so far, when i tried to use DVDsanta it burned two empty Video_TS and Audio_TS folders and ruined my dvd...last time i'll try that - tmpgENC i have been unable to get a file that will be below 9gigs, like 210% the size of the dvd for some reason...even with all minimal settings and following a tutorial exactly

Re: DivxToDvd question - where'd my audio go?

You don't need an AUDIO_TS folder. That is only present on audio DVDs. Some DVD progs output a blank one for compatibility. You will find your audio is perfectly fine, properly muxed into the VOB files together with the video under the VIDEO_TS folder where it is supposed to be!
If your player insists on one for compatibility simply create one manually and burn it (empty of course) along with the VIDEO_TS folder DivXToDVD outputs.

Re: DivxToDvd question - where'd my audio go?

awesome, thanks for the quick reply - i kind of was hoping that was the case, because it seems like it worked great - now just to get CopytoDVD and check out the final result..

do you thikn that if i create a manual audio folder anyway, just in case, that it would get an error because the dvd player would be trying to pull the audio out of that folder and its not in there because i made it up....or should i burn first and see if my player has any problems?

Re: DivxToDvd question - where'd my audio go?

Most of the DVDs I create have an empty AUDIO_TS folder, as do purchased DVDs. If your dvd authoring software creates one then fine, if not don't worry about it as it really doesn't seem to matter either way.
