Different versions different results

I made a backup of No One Lives Forever 2 using Blindwrite version 4.2.8 and it worked fine. I finally took Virus2k's suggestion and uninstalled 4.28 keeping the BWA builder and installed 4.25. The copy of NOLF2 will not work now that this version is installed. I then put 4.28 back on and it worked.

1. Do you have to play the game you backed up with say version X only with version X installed?

2. Does this mean that my copy is NOT 1:1 since I need 4.28 to be installed on my system?

Reading with a Plextor 40X Ultra Wide SCSI drive, burning with a Lite-On 52/24/52. Used BWA from forum.

If you used nightcrawlers bwa then no wonder its not working properly for your drives it may very well work for him but thats another story for diffrent media ! thats why i implore people to make there submissions to futureproof that are SPIKELESS...

also you dont need a bwa for cd2 just use nero for that cd..

question 1 : No you can use eny cd for a version that has already been installed !....

question 2 : like i have sead above the bwa you used isnt the best of bwa files infact its terrible no offence nightcrawler...
if people submitted no spikeless bwa files then people wouldnt have half the probems they do....

uninstall 425 and then reinstall with 425`s bwa builder becuse he may have used 428`s bwa builder to do the bwa file. Becuse 428 uses that emulation crap and possable due to 428 not writeing the bwa`s properly

ok i have a better idea ... why cont you create your own BWA for cd1 use your liteon 52x make the bwa at 1/2x then do not mess with your pc or have enything running in the background..

i bet you get the perfect BWA file
