VSO Software Discuss, copying dvd to dvd at Burning Software forum; this will prolly sound like a stupid queestion to ye folk, thats because i suppose it is!! but ive read that its not possible to directly copy a dvd to a dvd i.e. that you have to copy an image of the dvd to your hard driver and then

copying dvd to dvd

this will prolly sound like a stupid queestion to ye folk, thats because i suppose it is!!

but ive read that its not possible to directly copy a dvd to a dvd i.e. that you have to copy an image of the dvd to your hard driver and then copy it back? is this correct? as i have a dvd and a dvd writer on my machine.

thats a good question, i dont know what exactly is single or double, basically i dont take great care of my dvds and i tend to get them scratched so i want to make a copy of everything and play the copies so that i will always have the original.
