I'm pretty sure that the moderators are going to string you up alive by your big toe and hit you with a stick for asking that question.

This forum only supports making working personal backups from ORIGINAL copies.

It's a bit of a poser though. More academic than practical.

Admitting that you've illegally downloaded movies/songs and need help to process/burn is comparable to robbing a bank, and walking into the bank the next day holding the bags of money to deposit them into your account.
Don't be surprised if people laugh at you when you make the headlines.

Not quite correct. The forum supports making working legal copies and there are some limited circumstances in which copying a copy is legal. (For example, if your licensed original is lost, destroyed and damaged so that it is no longer usable, it is permissible to make a further copy of your back-up copy for back-up purposes.)

Generally speaking, if your rig is capable of successfully copying a safedisc protected original cd (any version) with any particular software, it will also be capable of copying that copy with the same software.

As for the latest securom protected cds, generally the answer is no. However, if you make a non-bwa copy for installation purposes only and keep your bwa file, it is relatively easy to make a working bwa copy from the non-bwa copy should you ever need to do at some time down the track.
