ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders Hey Guys: ConvertXtoDVD produced 2 VIDEO_TS folders. One per mkv file. How do I combine the contents of the 2 folders so I can burn them to burn on a Dual Layer DVD??? Thanks, jwmghf

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders I think you should have joined the mkv files before creating the VIDEO_TS folders with ConvertX...this would give you 1 folder to burn from. This will join your mkv files... http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ Last edited by LOCOENG; 3 Weeks Ago at 22:05. Reason: added link

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders Sorry, I should have added the guide link. Pretty simple really... http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/a...oin_files.html ...just drag and drop your files into the program. Make sure you add the first file first and so forth as there is no way to move them around inside the program itself.

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders I followed the instructions and the files did join together to make one mkv file, but when loaded it into ConvertXtoDVD I got this error: xxxx.mkv is unsupported or not A/V file What do you think? (Are there any settings I need to adjust before I join the two?) Thanks

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders Yep, there were subtitles in it. I followed your link and removed them, and got the combined mkv's into ConvertXtoDVD as one. I'll post back to let you know if I did everything correctly. Do I need to put the subtitles back?? I don't think they are really necessary. Thanks

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders Bummer, the picture was very choppy, like it was encoded at the wrong fps. The mkv was filmed at 25fps and I had the settings in Convertxtodvd set to NTSC under Video Standard in TV Format under Settings. Does that sound correct? Thanks

| Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Two mkv files produced two VIDEO_TS folders lol NTSC is 30000/1001 fps and PAL is 25. If it's a film I would say to decimate it back to 24000/1001 but since that's not a dvd standard, you can't do that, so I suggest you stick with PAL. If you encode with 30000/1001 fps all you're going to get is a blurry mess. What's the resolution of your input mkv? What codec is the video stream encoded with?
