Centering second line of subtitles?

Hello, Im converting a divx movie to DVD, I got .srt subtitle files, everything is right.. but the subtitles are not centered, I mean the second line, it appears formatted to the left... like this:

This is my movie with subtitles showing
like this.

And I would like to see it like this:

This is my movie with subtitles showing
___________like this.

(without the line)

How to do that in ConvertXtoDVD ???

Thank you in advance

Hi there,

You did not state what version you are using.

Anyway, latest version is v2.1.0 and yes, there are still an issue what the color and justification of the subtitles.

This bug report is already opened with VSO Software.

Re: Centering second line of subtitles?

This is interesting - I have done some subtitling on TV shows, and there were strict guidelines.
One was that unless there is some specific reason, all lines start from left.
Sometimes when there was need for showing LONG pause between two words but they both still needed to be seen on screen, it was allowed to use dots or lines showing "breathes" or "pauses between words".
Never just spaces or middle justification.
Different countries might have different guidelines.

Re: Centering second line of subtitles?

Well, im not really following any guidelines, is just that I would like to see my subtitles centered, that's the way they are in all movies I've seen, so when I see the subtitles aligned to left... they seem wrong to me.
