Can't make a multisession dvd with CopyToDVD

I own a Iomega DualDVD and I want to back up some data from my hard drive onto DVD's but gradually in multisessions. I may add one GB today and another GB next week etc.
I set CopyToDVD to burn in multisession mode but it always finishes the recording and I can not add any more data to the DVD.It's a waste to burn only part of it,I don't know what wrong I can have done.
I check Create/Continue multisession media, Keep Volume name and description, Import existing data with the following rules, Replace file if newer.
Any help appreciated

I don't use blindwrite. I use CopyToDVD to save data from my HD
Ther's no need for multisession if I make a DVD backup

that is an old version, and I believe your right in that version the premastering was broke, download the new version and try again.

I installed the latest version, choose make multisession disk-and CopyToDVD finalises the dvd so I cannot use it to its potential.
I noe uninstall the software and use EZCD.
Thanks for your response anyway!

Hi,

I have the same problem, it does not continue multisession DVDs.
I tried it with RWs a couple of times, but it always erases the old contents and does not import it.

Copy2DVD is a nice program, but without multisession support it is almost unusable.

Same here !
Multisession support seems broken since a few versions, and still no solution ...
And yes, you are right, CopyToDVD is quite useless for me without this feature.
So I burn only complete CD using BW.

I downloaded NERO, and it works perfectly, also with multi-session. Nice user interface. See www.nero.com.

That sounds good, but in the Manual I get the impression that multi session is for CD only and not for DVD.
Gotto try it anyway,thank you.
